Programmes & Workshops
“My daughter benefitted hugely from the programme - she has become extremely good at identifying when a situation might become too much, so not just when it is already overwhelming, and has developed excellent techniques to address it. She can articulate her feelings beautifully, both positive and negative, and why she is feeling them. When she is happy, she is adept at spreading that joy; and when she is not quite so happy she knows things that she can do to deal with. Both her and our entire family have found your course very useful and we are so appreciative of it!” - Primary Parent
Junior and Senior Programmes
The programme's foundations lie within a unique combination of psychoeducation and physiology; drawing on positive-psychology, the latest science on the nervous system as well as the mind-body connection. The programme explores evidence-based toolsand strategies to expand key skills that are fundamental for children and adolescents to build resilience and thrive as they navigate their way through the ups and downs of life into adulthood.
Sessions use fun and engaging, age-relevant, with activities to support learning and develop skills necessary to build what we believe are at the core of resilience: Balance, Self-Belief, Optimism and Perseverance.
The programme explores the meaning of resilience before going on to noticing and naming emotions, learning about the invaluable connection between emotions and behaviours and understanding how the brain and the body communicate through the nervous system. For example, children look at the benefits of what brings them joy, the positive impact of gratitude on the brain and body, and learn key skills needed to confidently ask for help.
Through games, creative activities, discussions and breathing practices the children build a comprehensive toolkit for resilience. Using what they have learnt over the programme, they will make their own ‘Soothe box’ to take home with them to use whenever they need a reminder of the tools for resilience.
This is an independent, stand-alone programme that compliments the National Curriculum. Programmes are held within schools, at local youth charities or on a 1:1 basis with professional therapists. Sessions can be adapted to meet the needs of the children and the available time.
“Truly valuable advice, ideas and tips and tools - I’ve certainly taken away plenty to practise for myself and for my children.”

Parent/Carer Workshops
These workshops provide a whole child approach and have been deeply appreciated within the communities we have worked with. They are engaging, interactive and rich in the latest research on the mind-body connection, empowering parents and carers with a deeper understanding of their child’s emotions and behaviours.
As well as gaining valuable knowledge, parents and carers learn helpful tools and strategies, ranging from Breathwork and movement to confidence and retraining thoughts through positive psychology. These tools can be used by both the children and adults to bring balance and calm and build the foundations towards a calmer and more harmonious connection at home.
